Pure and essential lines for a perfect mix of design and functionality are the distinctive features of Mare, the collection by Ceramica Cielo designed by Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez.

With a strong aesthetic and a distinctive character, Mare consists of three suspended oval washbasins (50x40 cm, 60x47 cm e 70x47 cm) and three basins in different shapes (round Ø 45 cm, oval and rectangular both 60x47 cm) flanked by two pairs of sanitary ware (suspended and floor-standing). The latter are available in the rimless version with the revolutionary Rimless 2.0 technology – patented by the Company – combining aesthetics, functionality, water saving and maximum hygienic efficiency. A further advantage of this technology is the quietness of the water flow: tests have in fact shown that the flush is up to 40% quieter than that of traditional sanitary ware, a factor that has a significant impact on the acoustic comfort of the environment.

The heart of the project is always the ceramic, characterised by unique dimensions, surfaces and colours that express and enhance the Company’s extraordinary ability to mould this material, transforming it and enhancing the beauty of its forms. To make the bathroom environment even more exclusive, in addition to the classic glossy white, it is possible to choose between the refined nuances of the Terre and Acque di Cielo palettes, complementary and combinable with each other, the first characterised by matt-effect colours and the second by dense glossy tones. Real alchemic experiments that explore the relationship between colour and architecture, these ranges create unexpected chromatic games and represent for architects and designers a further proposal aimed at ensuring maximum customisation and compositional freedom.

The clean forms, suggesting an idea of absolute harmony, enhanced by the wide choice of colours and different variants make the Mare collection suitable for any space, residential and contract.
