The new bathroom furnishings of Duravit

Duravit expands the range of products showcased in 2015 with new interesting innovations dedicated to bathroom furniture, developed in collaboration with renowned international designers.

ME by Starck, the line of basins, washbasins, bowls and bidets, has been designed by Philippe Starck for a modern and minimalist bathroom. 1300 mm wide, the new double console basin matches perfectly the coordinated base L-Cube, available in 30 different finishes.

On the other hand, DuraStyle aims at completing and maximizing spaces even in the smallest areas. Designed by Matteo Thun, the line includes in fact a console basin Compact, which thanks to a depth of only 400 mm is also suitable for smaller spaces.

In Happy D.2, the special geometry of the complete bathroom range designed by Sieger Design - rounded corners and thin edges - is always present, even in elegant vanity units with bi-laminated fronts with Lino finish.

There are also new floor solutions with vanity units laying on chromed user-adjustable leveling feet.

Moreover, the range of furniture and accessories has been extended, including the series L-Cube, designed in collaboration with Christian Werner. The plain rectangular fronts of furnishings are not disturbed by any handle. Drawers and pull-outs can be opened simply pushing and closed with a cushioned self-closing system.

The cabinet lighting is provided by a continuous LED strip that frames the mirror. Behind the double sided doors there is a socket. Available in four sizes, even in the recessed version, the mirror cabinet can be combined with most of the different ceramic series of Duravit.

Furthermore, Darling New, with its harmonic shapes and thin edges, is extended with additional products: the four console basins, whose widths vary from 520 to 1020 mm, can now be combined with the vanity units of the furniture series L-Cube.

The highest standards of furniture are satisfied with sink solutions with widths of 800 mm and 1000 mm, in which the ceramic console basin and the vanity unit are combined each other in a perfect unity, thanks to the so-called “c-bonded” technology. The thickness of the washbasin, made of DuraCeram, becomes invisible and reduces to an exact edge.

There are available both the wall-hung and the floor versions with chromed user-adjustable leveling feet, including a pull-out or two drawers.

Another innovation is the wall-hung WC Darling New, 57 cm deep. The conformation without flushing rim of the Rimless technology - ensuring excellent rinsing results with just 4.5 liters of water - and the combination with the electronic seat SensoWash® Slim are very comfortable.
