Audacious new entries for Roche Bobois A/I 2016

Previewed at the Milan Furniture Exhibition (Salone del Mobile), the latest products of the collection A/I2016-17 proposed by the French brand Roche Bobois appear bold and vivid and want to surprise with plays of volumes, colors and materials in a vibrant and colorful context.

Designed by Roberto Tapinassi and Maurizio Manzoni, the armchair and the Odea sofa have an organic design, organized in the succession of elements evoking the petals of a flower. The Astragale buffet, signed by French designer Bina Baitel, is inspired by the «Haussmann architectural codes and reinterprets its famous moldings: oblique, folded, the company offers a reinvented version of the classic».

Fabrice Berrux is instead the designer of the table AQUA, with a drops of water base, obtained from a single block of marble that extends in a smooth line to the polyurethane surface, covered in black Fénix®.

However, the famous Mah Jong sofa remains an iconic model: designed in 1971 by Hans Hopfer, playful and smart, it is still the Maison representative, the symbol of the «French Art de Vivre». The sectional elements of the furniture upholstered in Missoni Home fabrics are quilted, knitted mattress and handmade.
