From Gentry to Mono Mania Mexico: the Salone by Moroso

Moroso arrives at Salone del Mobile 2018 with an exhibition space signed Patricia Urquiola, where the products of the designer, besides that of Doshi&Levien, Ron Arad, Sebastian Herkner, Edward van Vliet e Benjamin Hubert, will be showed.

A collection of chairs designed by Niels Bendtsen and some tables designed by Mayr & Glatzl will be exhibited for the first time. Special attention will be given to Green Light, the design of tables and bookcases signed by Olafur Eliasson.

Twenty years after the start of the collaboration with Urquiola, one of the company's best sellers, the Gentry sofa, will be presented again in a lighter and downsized version. Gentry Extra Light, in fact, renovates the idea of an elegant and compact sofa to be used in different spaces, including home and common areas.

The appointment with the new products of the brand continues at the Fuorisalone, in the showroom of Pontaccio Street, where - in collaboration with Limonta, historical Lombard textile company - the work of Bethan Laura Wood entitled MONO MANIA MEXICO will be showed: it is a textile and furniture project inspired on a personal journey in the great Mexican culture of the '70s.

On the second floor, TAPESTRY, a gallery of designers’ tapestries by Tord Boontje, Gabriella Giandelli, Front and Alessandro Paderni will be showed to celebrate the return of a typology that has sometimes been forgotten.
