Besides the "Collaboration Elements" - the LG Hausys and HI-MACS®exhibition retracing the history of their collaborations with some Archistar, including Marcel Wanders and Karim Rashid - the well-known new generation acrylic stone, made up of minerals, resin and pigments, will also be present in other installations of the Milan Furniture Fair, first of all the Baars & Bloemhoff – Transitions Exhibit.
During the exhibition, various creative Dutch design studios have tried to interpret the product range offered by the company distributing Baars & Bloemhoff materials. From the multiple reinterpretation contemporary and smart furnishings have been created, colorful and fun, with a strong resemblance to Dutch typical design. Among them, the creative duo Visser & Meijwaard designed “Grey on Gray”, a piece of furniture with an industrial character realized in HI-MACS®, suitable for many different uses, from the night space to the living area.
The acrylic stone uses are expressed in "Zen", a sculptural element made with the translucent range, and counted in the sophisticated line of Novy hoods. An integrated LED system, with adjustable intensity, turns Zen into a lighting element with a stylish modern design, designed to be in the center of the kitchen.
Moreover, during the exhibition the latest Aran Cucine products will be presented, including "Volare", in HI-MACS®, which has elegance and practicality of use with its voluminous and soft shapes. The dark brown base, the working plan with a sinuous shape and the vertical cuts of the columns give a slender and dynamic look to the kitchen.
Also Karl Andersson & Soner studio interpreted the ductile stone with their new entry, presenting tables and coffee tables “Buff”, with a retro style looking at present. The thin and strong legs streamline the structure and play with the viewer, appearing different according to the position.
In addition, the reticulated geometric space designed by Simone Piva integrates into the kitchen architecture, in order to give a contemporary and clean identity to the space. A kitchen in which elements not in use vanish beneath the acrylic stone sheets, movable according to your needs.
