On the market for over 10 years, the technology of Active Surfaces® exploits the photocatalytic properties of titanium dioxide which, when combined with silver, transforms a simple ceramic slab into an eco-active material with antibacterial and antiviral, anti-pollution, anti-odour and self-cleaning properties. These properties are effective also against SARS-COV-2, the virus responsible of Covid-19, which is eliminated up to 94% after only 4 four hours of exposure to light (natural or artificial).
