Assoposa has contributed to the construction of the Apple Museum in Savona, which will be inaugurated in October, between the New Quay and the Cruise Terminal of the Port of Savona: All About Apple Museum.
In over ten years of work, the non-profit association All About Apple ONLUS has built up a collection of over 9000 items (Apple products spanning the company's history from 1976 to the present) and is currently the best-stocked museum in the world, containing almost all of Apple's output of personal computers, peripherals, accessories and prototypes, from the origins to the present day.
The machines on display tell the story of the birth, development and transformation of personal computing, with the unique feature that all the exhibits will be powered up and operational, so as to enable visitors to see for themselves how the various devices and interfaces developed and how they were presented at the time of their release.
As well as providing funding, Assoposa took care of the tiling of the new museum in partnership with the Savona Construction School, to give the tiles an unmistakable character of excellence.
The tiles were installed by Master Tilers Matteo Giovenzana, of Giussano (Monza Brianza), and Giovanni Del Tredici, of Bellano (Lecco).
The tiles were donated by Florim and the adhesives and grouts by Mapei, both of which are corporate members of Assoposa.
The Assoposa logo will appear in the entrance to the museum, on the association's web site and in the museum's catalogue, which will be distributed worldwide.
