Cambria, The American manufacturer of quartz surfaces for interior design and architecture, leader in the USA and Canada, inaugurates its first overseas showroom in Verona. This is the first step towards the expansion of the brand on the Italian market, considered strategic at European level.
Serugeri – that has been active for over 50 years in the trade of wood and design surfaces – has been selected by Cambria as partner to reach Italy, create its commercial network on the national territory and manage the storage service by using an automated warehouse equipped with 4.0 technology systems, which is going to work in 2020.
Besides the intrinsic features of the products and their lifetime warranty, among the main strengths of the company the American-style approach stands out for the after-sales service, in which each point of the relationship with the client is managed with tailoring attention. For the development of custom projects, the company thus aims at carrying out the dialogue with international design professionals and the major interior brands.
Moreover, to increase its presence in Europe, Cambria is going to be at the next International Furniture Fair with excellent partners in the kitchen segment, such as Brummel, Maistri and SCIC.
The material and its applications
Thanks to the innovative Breton technology adopted by Cambria for the processing of natural stone, the final product stands out among the different products on the market for its strong originality: the materials are inspired by natural marble patterns without imitating them. The brand's range offers over 180 different motifs and a wide variety of shades to create innovative versions of stone as well as fascinating bookmatches.
Cambria quartz can be used in many different spaces. In the residential area, it becomes kitchen and bathroom top or surface for interior furnishing; in commercial, public, health and work-space spaces, it meets the typical requirements of healthiness and durability over time as well as of resistance in environments with high traffic; in sports facilities and stadiums, it can cover with waterjet personalized and decorated accessories. The production meets the highest quality standards, is 100% non-porous, scratch-resistant and stain-resistant: it does not require maintenance, sealing or polishing.
Environmental protection has also a great importance for the brand: Cambria surfaces obtained NSF-51 certification, ensuring suitability for food contact. Moreover, the company gained Greenguard Gold certificates for low VOC emissions and Declare-certified compliant with the Living Building Challenge (LBC).
