It is now officially possible to sign up and take part in the Cross Design Contest 2017, the international contest organised by Ceramiche Caesar for the production of artistic works. Until July 15, 2017, architects, designers, interior designers and academy or university students can take part in one of the most interactive challenges of the last years, and set their creativity free by presenting a project to a jury of experts.
Participants must submit a project for one of the environments of the Caesar Gallery, the new showroom at the headquarters of the company in Fiorano Modenese, which will be opened in September, 2017.
Participants must study and interpret one of three moods identified in "Cross Design 2016/2017", the magazine dedicated to the latest trends of the world of design and result of the meticulous trend research work of Ceramiche Caesar.
Participants must upload on the dedicated web site - contest.caesar.it - an architectural project that has never been presented before, which combines Caesar products in an harmonious and original manner and is animated by the creative spirit of the participant. In fact, Caesar will provide the dimensions and plan of the space, the textures of the collections to use and some tools of the mood board, but it is up to the participant to create a setting inspired by a loft in a large city, with an elegant and contemporary style. The aim is also to enhance the value of Caesar porcelain stoneware by using its products for floors and walls.
Within July 28, 2017, a technical jury composed of five members will select the best three projects, in compliance with very strict evaluation criteria, and will award three prizes accordingly. The first place winner will receive a sum equal to 5,000.00 € gross, will be given the opportunity to have his/her project realised in the Caesar Gallery, will be interviewed by an important trade magazine and will be a guest of Caesar at Cersaie 2017. The second and third place winners will also take part in the International Exhibition in Bologna and will be awarded a prize of 3,000.00 € and 2,000.00 € gross respectively.
