Devon&Devon is putting down roots in Denmark with the opening of a new flagship store in the centre of Copenhagen, thus establishing a strategic direct presence in Scandinavia, the cradle of international design.
The famous Italian bathroom furnishing brand has chosen to locate its new single-brand showcase in the Store Kongensgade area in the pulsating heart of the capital, between the Nyhavn canal, the ancient port, the historic Nyboder district and the royal palace.
Occupying a surface area of 160 square metres and designed by the architect Paola Tanini, the brand's Art Director, the store aims to create a mix of tradition and modernity by displaying all its collections, from the most classic to the most recent, including several key Devon&Devon pieces, such as the Music vanity unit, inspired by the American jazz age, the imposing President bath, and the traditional Etoile console.
The display area also includes floor and wall coverings made in marble - Elite Mosaic and Prestige - in wood - Intarsia - and in the more traditional ceramic - Lambris Bell Flower, Elysees, Brick and Simply.
