The first Fiemme Store in Milan – the monobrand showroom of the Trento-based company expert in floors, walls and furniture made of biocompatible wood – is going to open for the next Fuorisalone 2018.
The space of three hundred square meters and located at 21 Lanza Street, in the Foro Bonaparte area, develops on two levels of a court building. The project, curated by the studio LDA - Luca Donazzolo Architetto, was created with the aim of enhancing wood products and the environments in which they are placed.
In the basement, an area framed by exposed brick barrel vaults includes the entire range of the brand, while the different “rooms” create a path that resembles the typical layout of a true home.
The version Reale of the collection Boschi by Fiemme was selected for the interiors to fully explore wood nature: an untouched oak in its warm dove-gray color, softened in the brightest shades by a slight veil of transparent oiling.
“This is the only one Fiemme Store of our distribution network. After the latest openings abroad, in China and New York, it had to be located in the city of design par excellence. It will not be just a space dedicated to the home – Marco Felicetti, Ad of Fiemme 3000 explains – but our goal, even more in a special year like this one of our 25th birthday, is to make it a Lab, a container of activities related to “well-being” as a way of life and not just furniture”.
It will be inaugurated during the Brera Design Week (April 17-22) with the installation “Healthy living: the future of interiors”.
