At the Fuorisalone 2024, Coem and Fioranese present “Suspended Color”
The dialogue between art and ceramics appears original, engaging and versatile, with color and material textures taking center stage in the project curated for Coem and Fioranese by Studio Alessandro Pasinelli. This exhibition will be hosted in Galleria Mimmo Scognamiglio, in the heart of the Brera Design District.
The goal of Coem and Fioranese is to provide designers and professionals with some unexpected and unconventional combination suggestions, with the intention of breaking away from classic and traditional patterns for interior design projects.
In the large room, usually home to the art gallery, visitors will be able to admire ceramic-clad paintings. These are created by layering different panels of various irregular and angular geometric shapes, in various finishes, which enhance and highlight the endless unpredictable combinations, for a contemporary aesthetic code that looks to the future.

Comprising tiles of various formats and textures - including the collection The Color, in porcelain stoneware, designed by Pasinelli himself - the setup comprises a collage that stretches along the walls and extends down to the floor, thus capturing the attention of visitors. At the center, two large cylindrical structures are clad with small-format porcelain tiles.
The color combinations have been carefully studied to highlight the versatility of combinations among the various collections: from neutral and subdued tones to bold explosions of color, each composition tells a different, isolated, and harmonious story. Grey-blue, Mud, Cream, Brick, Amber, and Pink are the six matte colors in warm and cool tones, in the 120x120 cm size, thickness 9 mm.
The exhibition route then leads to a room dedicated to the new collection of solid colors; in this case, the installation moves to the floor, creating a persistent optical effect, thus maintaining the concept of layering unchanged. The result is a kaleidoscope of colors suspended in space.
To conclude the exhibition, there is a space dedicated to a material library, where visitors can see and touch a selection of samples summarizing the production of the two brands.
