Iris Ceramica Group Main Sponsor of “Art Déco. Il trionfo della modernità” in Milan
Iris Ceramica Group - the international manufacturer of technical ceramics for the high-end market - is proud to be Main Sponsor of the exhibition Art Déco. Il trionfo della modernità promoted by the Culture Department of the municipality of Milan and produced by Palazzo Reale and 24 ORE Cultura-Gruppo 24 ORE. This initiative pays homage to the 1920s style in which Italian decorative arts triumphed, and ceramics in particular were a key feature of the period, becoming a symbol of modernity and innovation. Today this bond continues to be reflected perfectly in the Iris Ceramica Group identity, and since its foundation the Group has always been committed to enhancing this material, striving to restore its dignity and nobility also in the industrial field as an emblem of excellence and innovation.
“We are really pleased to be Main Sponsor of this exhibition, celebrating not only the beauty and elegance of the Art Deco style, but also its lasting impact on the decorative arts that still today continue to inspire the design, architecture and fashion world. Indeed, the “deco decade” continues to make its mark, in terms of both taste and close attention to detail, qualities that can be found today in our commitment to producing natural ceramic slabs that combine beauty, function, sustainability and technological innovation. This era was of huge importance to ceramics, and still today continues to inspire new creations, keeping the dialogue between tradition and innovation - themes that remain central to our corporate philosophy - alive,” commented Federica Minozzi, CEO of Iris Ceramica Group. “The 1925 exhibition in Paris not only defined a new international taste, it also played a decisive role in laying the foundations for creating the “Made in Italy” concept. A symbol of quality, elegance and innovation that has thrived over time and that, for over 60 years, our Group has been committed to proudly represent around the world.
Through this initiative, we renew our commitment to supporting cultural projects that promote common values. We firmly believe that by looking to the future while holding true to our roots, we can continue to innovate, as the Art Deco decade showed us.” Federica Minozzi ends.
For the whole week of the Fuorisalone, Palazzo Reale will host one of the company’s interactive installations, enhancing the museum displays with an original concept in perfect deco style but with contemporary technology.
