Laminam, a specialist in the production of large-size and minimum thickness ceramic surfaces, testifies the strong connection with the architectural world through the participation, as a supporter, in the 15th International Architecture Exhibit, the Venice Biennale.
The company will also be present on May 26, in the days of the vernissage, to launch the World Atlas Book - a limited edition volume dedicated to the most exciting shots captured by the Florentine photographer Andrea Garuti about the main LAMINAM realizations in the world: public and private buildings in central Tokyo, the Chamber of Deputies in Mexico, the Moscow School, the Fluxmans Building in South Africa, Panmure Station in New Zealand and Toronto Bloor East.
Thus, a photo feature that combines architecture, reality and travel story, softly capturing, with chromatic power, real life scenes and passing tiptoe through the streets respecting peoples and cultures, in the spirit of research of new perspectives, typical of architectural innovation, that is the soul of LAMINAM project.
The book will be launched during the round table organized by Laminam, “Il Pianeta in Superficie”, scheduled on May 26, at 4:00 pm, at the Biennale Library in the historic Central Pavilion of the Gardens (Giardini Padiglione Centrale).
Moderated by the author and director Raffaello Fusaro, during the round table some leading voices of the contemporary architecture world will be present: among them, the Italian Gianluca Peluffo 5+1AA, the Indian Anupama Kundoo, the Chinese Zhang Ke, the Brazilian Humberto Campana and, above all, Giuliana Bruno, full professor at Harvard University in the department of Visual and Environmental Studies, ideally flying over the world and gliding over materials and methods, borders and creative utopias.
