Marazzi Group, an Italian manufacturer of ceramic tile marketed under the Marazzi and Ragno brands, is present at Expo Milano 2015 with over 30,000 square metres of ceramic floor and wall tiles.
Marazzi materials have been used in a total of 10 areas throughout the exhibition complex, starting with its main thoroughfares, the Decumanus and the Cardo, followed by the Zero Pavilion and the Expo Center, the covered area for cultural events and entertainments, all the way up to Palazzo Italia, the most important building in the Italian Pavilion, not to mention the Enel, United States, Russian, Iranian and Austrian pavilions.
Marazzi Group has also taken part in numerous other initiatives connected with Expo Milano 2015. These include the upgrading of the Central Railway Station with its new platforms specially reserved for the Expo, the "Ceramics of Italy" workshops curated by Aldo Colonnetti and Riccardo Blumer at the Triennale, the "Punti di vista" installation by Piuarch at the State University, the renovation of the Torre Arcobaleno, and the organisation of the Foodies Party to be held for the full duration of the Expo in the Group's Milan showroom.
