Marazzi opens its first showroom in London

The famous ceramic group, Marazzi, inaugurated its first showroom in London, in the hub of Clerkenwell, the strategic design pole in the UK capital.

For the inauguration, specifically held during the Clerkenwell Design Week, Marazzi welcomed its guests into the new 300 sqm space, in St. John Street, designed by the Italian architects Lorenzo Baldini and Antonio Pisano, founders of the Studio Marcel Mauer of London.

There is a twofold goal in the opening: on the one hand, increasing the presence of Marazzi on the UK market; on the other hand, further strengthening the positioning in the community of international architects and interior designers.

The three-storey showroom, by exhibiting new collections, suggests visitors the finest quality materials and the cutting-edge creativity of the brand, representing the best of Marazzi's uniqueness and its inclination to research and innovation. The ground floor volumes of different materials resemble the fragments of pyramids that rise to the ceiling. Each step of the pyramid consists of different types of stoneware whose visual effects are harmonized in a homogeneous color palette. The upper floor has a flexible working area, halfway between the artist's atelier and the architecture studio, where a long table creates spaces suitable for both single professionals and teamworks.
