After the ongoing presence at the Milan Design Week and the London Design Festival, Materials Village, the hub of initiatives dedicated to design materials promoted by Material ConneXion Italia, arrives in Paris, within the Maison & Objet – September 8 to 12 - to present a project aimed at the Parisian architects and the world of the interior design.
Moreover, the installation “L'Atelier Italien” (curated by Studio Marco Piva) will be presented during this first Paris edition, to give an Italian style to the materials of the exhibiting companies, enhancing its technical, decorative and functional features.
“The research around the materials of the architectural composition and the interiors is for me an almost obsessive activity, be they natural materials - marbles, stones - or artificial ones - glass, ceramics, metals – including the composite and synthesis materials”, the architect Piva comments. “In the L'Atelier Italien, the strength of the project is in the creative dialogue between my Studio and the companies: as in a fashion house, the synergy between architect and company, besides the creative flair combined with tailors’ obsession, create exceptional possibilities. The matrix is really Italian, the result is ready to face the World”.
Abet Laminati is also worth mentioning: it is present at Materials Village within a stand designed by Paola Navone and dedicated to Polaris, which is a surface warm, soft touch, anti-fingerprint, resistant to heat and scratches heat.
Material ConneXion Italia will be present with the set-up of its “materioteca”, characterized by a selection of the most innovative materials.
