The new CASA LAGO has been inaugurated today in the heart of Milan: it is the natural evolution of the revolutionary exposition apartment born in 2009 from an idea of the famous interior design company.
The 400 square meters of the new multi-purpose space are the synthesis of a process whose aim is to establish relations with all that lies outside the company, going beyond the barrier of the furniture’s traditional design and production. Thus, at 6 via San Tomaso, in a strategic position a few steps away from the Duomo, the products innovations fall entirely in the cozy and home-feeling atmosphere of kitchen and living room, bathroom and bedroom, but also conference rooms, temporary offices and co-working areas.
«Today is a pretty known concept, but here in LAGO we have been believed it since long time: design is much more than an object», the CEO and Head of Design of LAGO, Daniele Lago, claims. «When it is well done, the design is also concerned about contexts and creates places that can have a positive impact in the world, thus generating meanings and creating new possibilities for good relations, a great heritage for all of us. CASA LAGO came from these assumptions. After two years of planning and efforts, it is now time to open the doors to welcome those who, motivated by a pinch of curiosity, want to be the protagonists of these 400 square meters with a high design content in the city center. The numerous and large areas of CASA LAGO have been created to enhance product design by welcoming the users in an empathic embrace.
