Patricia Urquiola: Between Craft and Industry is the first American monographic exhibition based on the work of the world-famous Spanish designer, honoring her versatility in creating products, interiors and architectural spaces.
Curated by Donna Corbin, the exhibition The Louis C. Madeira IV Associate Curator of European Decorative Art was inaugurated last November 18 at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and will remain open to the public until March 4, 2018.
Biscuit Natural Genius, the innovative collection designed for Listone Giordano, will be part of the exhibition too. It has been selected because is one of the most significant products signed by Urquiola. The traditional shapes of the wood-blocks are reinterpreted by means of a rediscovery of the historic decorative vocation, exemplifying an ideal connection between classic and modern with a special appeal to the motifs of the iconic Versailles floors.
