Porcelanosa, which has about 400 stores spread over 100 countries worldwide and is an international benchmark in the architecture and interior design arena, opened a new Concept Store on 28 January at 45 Via Marghera in the heart of Milan.
The new Porcelanosa store, which is for the exclusive use of professionals intending to take their clients there, differs from the Spanish multinational's other stores because its aim is to provide architects and designers with the opportunity to give their clients a first-hand view of the solutions they are proposing, using Porcelanosa products, directly in a real display space.
The Concept Store at 45 Via Marghera is therefore a showcase of design, which aspires to become the first port of call for interior design professionals.
The inauguration of the new store in Milan also gave Porcelanosa a chance to present its revolutionary new multi-media platform, known as Design Hub Porcelanosa, which customers will be able to use to gain access to a network of architects and designers, who will make their know-how available free of charge.
So from now on, as well as having access to a vast range of products, Porcelanosa customers will be able to take advantage of the free advisory support of a professional, who will be there to give a helping hand with every step of the process of furnishing their home.
But how will Porcelanosa customers choose their consultant? Basically, according to two criteria: first they can make their own judgement by viewing each consultant's completed projects directly on the platform, and then they can read the feedback that each user is allowed to leave about the work of the professionals they have used.
"At this transitional moment for the market, the new Concept Store and innovative Design Hub serve the important, practical purpose of helping architects and designers do their job to a high standard," explained Fabio Martino, Director of Porcelanosa Lombardia. "And our success is based," he continued, "on winning the loyalty of customers by means of a consultancy-based approach that is not merely confined to the moment of purchase".
