Snaidero's Elle kitchen wins 2014 Good Design Award

Snaidero's Elle kitchen, designed by Monica Armani, won the Good Design Award 2014, the prestigious award from the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture. This is the 11th time Snaidero has won the award.

This major achievement confirms the brand's historic ability to blend originality and creativity with a culture of craftsmanship and an embrace of state-of-the-art industrial techniques.

"We are proud of this latest international award," commented Edi Snaidero, President of the Group.  "It is further proof that research and product innovation, underpinned by the Italian approach and genius loci on the one hand, and manufacturing prowess on the other, represent key assets in maintaining the distinctive features of Italian products, and standing out by means of a clear, forward-looking strategy."

Established in 1950 and organised by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and Metropolitan Arts, the Good Design Award is currently the most prestigious international award for designers and manufacturers. Its focus is on original, innovative concepts that exceed the normal standards of design and production.
