“the Future of Living and the Planet of the Future” is the title of the exhibition curated by Stefano Boeri Architetti for space&interiors - scheduled for April 17 to 21, at The Mall of Porta Nuova - and promoted by MADE Expo at the Fuorisalone 2018.
The theme, inspired by the atmospheres of the Red Planet, will compare the companies and designers participating in the science fiction imaginary built by the cinema, inviting them to interpret the future of living.
"During the Fuorisalone 2018, we invite public and operators to explore the future of living in the place where humanity will move within 100 years: Mars, the red planet. An interior product will typify and condition the unexplored universe", the designers of SBA tell. "The Mall, in the heart of the most innovative side of Milan, will be the closest of the distant planets. A habitat ready to welcome ideas, products, knowledge and innovation. A place to be 'colonized' and surrounded by the creativity of architecture".
Going down the hypogeum of The Mall, the visitor will have the impression of getting on a spaceship and projecting himself into an immersive environment, a large fluid space that goes beyond the rigidity of the exhibition layout, within which spaces and products of the houses of the future will be shown.
The event includes also debates and follow-up meetings with important professionals of the international technical and scientific scene.
