Tubes presents "Scaletta" at the Triennale

Tubes Radiators has been one of the stars of the Milan Design Week and continues to be a present protagonist in the Triennale exhibitions entitled "W. Women in Italian Design" and "Tribute to Domus".

Scaletta will be showcased until the 19th of February, 2017, at the XXI Milan Trienniale at the W. Women in Italian Design exhibition (curated by Silvana Annicchiarico and set-up by Margherita Palli).

Using the metaphor of a river flowing through the twentieth century, the exhibition aims to represent the history of Italian design of women between the twentieth and twenty-first century, displaying the most iconic and representative pieces of the 1900 (click here to see the pictures taken by MaterialiCasa).

Moreover, Scaletta, the award-winning design furniture radiator by Elisa Giovannoni, will be present at the "Tribute To Domus", part of the Milan Triennale, until June 5, 2016. The set-up of the exhibition celebrates the design magazine and has been made in collaboration with Fabrica and United Colors Of Benetton: Tubes tribute is represented by Scaletta customized versions in the colors of the year, Rose Quartz e Serenity.

Scaletta:

Scaletta design is far from radiator traditional forms: "The image of a ladder leaning against a wall suggests something new, the human industriousness, the development, the upward change from the bottom, it incorporates the opposing concepts of dynamism and stillness. It is a positive icon”, the designer explains.

A further strong point of the radiator is its practicality: Scaletta ensures maximum freedom in the positioning in all the rooms of the house, it does not require a true installation and power source is provided. Aluminum made, available in a wide range of colors, the company proposes two different versions: wall or floor freestanding, both equipped with a pulley wrapping the power cable.
