In the first half of 2017, the German Villeroy & Boch achieved two successes on the international scene. Finion, the new premium collection for bathrooms has recently won the iF DESIGN AWARD 2017 in the category 'free standing bathrooms' with two products (a washbasin with furniture and a bowl with coordinated seat) and the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2017 thanks to its washbasin with coordinated furniture.
Finion, made of materials like TitanCeram and Quaryl®, has Patrick Frey’s signature and is characterized by a strongly shaped design. The concept of the designer aims at the best quality, besides representing a contemporary luxury for relaxation and wellness.
There are ten models of washbasins, declined in three different colors, with edges of 6 mm only that make them stylish and versatile. The combination of WC and bidet, thanks to the hidden and invisible fastener of SupraFix, integrates delicately into the environment; the toilet has the DirectFlush technology and a seat of only 40mm with SoftClosing closure, easily removable thanks to the QuickRelease, for faster cleaning.
The free-standing bathtub made of Quaril®, with thin edges of 15 mm, has a compact size of 170 x 70 cm, but a particularly roomy interior and can be customized with a wide range of colors. Furthermore, thanks to the special optional lighting solution, the bathtub seems to float on a base of light.
The line is integrated by a series of plus and modular pieces of furniture, such as the smartphone charging station, the Bluetooth audio system, the anti-tarnishing function and the remote control to adjust each lighting element.
