The Holiday tub on display in Florence
For the global launch of the new Holiday bathtub, designed in collaboration with the Gensler architecture studio, we chose the most prestigious private residence in Florence and “Artigianato e Palazzo”, the event conceived by Princess Giorgiana Corsini and Neri Torrigiani to celebrate and promote the finest Italian craftsmanship worldwide.
The two-act mise-en-scène of the presentation included - in a surprising dialogue spanning centuries - the splendour of the 16th century Loggia del Buontalenti, magnificent centrepiece of the gardens designed by Gherardo Silvani for Prince Filippo Corsini precisely 400 years ago, and the beguiling charm of the Morgana by Giambologna, a copy of which was exhibited alongside Holiday in the ballroom of the Palace.
The work, created by master craftsman Filippo Tattini in collaboration with the Superintendency of Florence, was set on a base in White Tec Plus and Calacatta Oro marble, the same materials used for Holiday.
