citizenM Miami Worldcenter is open!

After the opening of the Miami Brickell location in the summer of 2022, citizenM — a long-term partner of Concrete Amsterdam — announces a new opening in the sun-kissed city of Miami.

The interior design and the architecture by concrete are inspired by the life at sea, which can be experienced on the cruise ships that continuously dock at the Miami harbor. The horizontal lines of the facade and the step-back roof are reminiscent of the decks of a boat. Another inspiration is the vibrant colors of the Art Deco buildings that Miami beach is famous for.

351 bedrooms, 4 inspiring meeting rooms, and last but not least, a rooftop pool!

The rooftop is the highlight of this hotel, allowing guests to enjoy the view over the high-rises of downtown and the bay. On the rooftop, guests can find a pool, a cabana-like bar, and palm trees, in real Miami style.

The location of the new hotel is Miami Worldcenter, a mixed-use development in the heart of the city. It is an ideal location for people traveling for business that also want to enjoy the vibrant culture and nightlife of Miami.

Miami Worldcenter is one of the biggest developments in the US at present. Next to the hotel, it will host retail spaces, but also residences, and a convention center. It is located within walking distance of downtown and the harbor, in a green and pedestrian-friendly environment.

citizenM is committed to supporting local artists everywhere it goes. Friends with You, the art collaboration between Samuel Borkson and Arturo Sandoval III - known for their work with the likes of Pharrell Williams and Diplo, has realized sculptures that will be placed all around the facade. Their art is playful and fun, a perfect fit for Miami's citizenM.

The concept design of the architecture and interior is designed by concrete and executed by the Miami team of Gensler.
