A residence integrated into the Umbrian landscape with Ipè wood
A project looking ahead without ignoring the feeling of warmth and welcome that makes a home unique. The very concept of the domestic hearth in a modern, updated and innovative version starts from ideas that break the mold besides respecting the lines of a story. This is indeed the concept behind the private residence in Umbria curated by the architect Mauro Zucchetti by Zucchetti Architectures: a house with a fascinating aesthetic, faithful to local tradition and perfectly integrated into the territory where it is located.
The architectural symmetries match with the decking and cladding solutions by Ravaioli Legnami, used for the flooring of the evocative outdoors with swimming pool, which is the flagship of the residence, and for the cladding of the facade of the residential building.
Versatile materials, with new expressive forms, harmoniously fit into naturalistic contexts with a unique charm, ranging from metropolitan settings to structures in maritime environments, up to hillside cottages immersed in the quiet of nature.
Ipè, the most popular decking wood in the world made this possible: characterized by warm tones and a smooth surface, this elegant essence is resistant to atmospheric agents too. With its fine and classy texture, this wood lasts over time: the extreme density makes it almost resistant to fungi and insects.
Solid and reliable, available in brown or to olive green, Ipè immediately conquers the sight and the senses taking you on a journey of utter beauty.
