With the project for the renovation and expansion of the FRAC Nord-Pas deCalais Art Center, in Dunkirk, Lacaton & Vassal is the winner of the third edition of the Biennial Award, created and promoted by the leading group in building materials.
The winning project at the awards ceremony held on 20 November was Zamora Offices by the Spanish architect Alberto Campo Baeza. Italy's winner of the national prize was the project Pedevilla Pliscia 13 in Marebbe, by Pedevilla Architects of Brunico (in the Italian province of Bolzano).
