A sculptural and curvilineal design is the one of Lune, the new sectional sofa system launched by Fritz Hansen during the Milan Design Week and presented by its designer Jaime Hayon. Its northern and classic shape resembles the traditional model while still offering the peculiarity and versatility of knock-down furnishings.
The sofa is available in many different versions: from two straight seats to the larger L shapes and a chaise longue. Furthermore, the name emphasizes the concept of maximum comfort: "Lune" - in Danish - suggests an ideal temperature and the feeling of the perfect balance.
In other words, not only is comfort here meant as well-being, but also as a possibility to customize the seating in the most suitable layout, depending on the interior needs.
