Opal Quiz: the bath tub with "hypnotic" texture

The new freestanding bathtub Opal Quiz by Acquabella focuses on the exploration of materials and finishes, presenting a texture that draws geometric shapes with hypnotic effects on the entire external surface. Pleasant to the touch and highly defined as for aesthetics, this particular finish is the result of the combination of the “concrete” look of Beton, the micro-textured consistency of Zero and the natural veins of Ethnic. Measuring 180x55 cm, Opal Quiz has a welcoming oval, characterized by a thicker edge suitable for supporting bottles or bathroom dispensers. A very haute couture bathtub, as you can also choose the desired shade from a wide range of colors (Standard, Naturally Made o RAL/NCS).

What is more, Opal Quiz represents the first bathtub model made of Akron©, a material patented by Acquabella, which combines the properties of polyurethane with mineral fillers, for an excellent and high quality result. Akron© stands out for its antibacterial and anti-slip properties (essential requirements for bathrooms), but also for its extreme resistance to the possible scratches or shocks of a daily use.

Thanks to its features, Opal Quiz has already been awarded the prestigious Red Dot Design Award 2021 for its innovative design and quality. The jury of iF Design Award likewise selected the bathtub as a finalist for the Product Design category.
