Winning materic mix for the new kitchens by Ernestomeda

Offering among other things unusual combinations of different quality materials, the new kitchens Ernestomeda relies on the materic mix, a real added value of the interior design 2.0 according to the latest market trends.

The new model Obliqua includes among the various options, for example, the combination of solid woods Deluxe and eco-mortar. Specifically, the uniqueness of this composition is ensured by the latter material, whose crafted application cycle enriches the finish with different details. It is an acrylic-based resin, highly functional due to its many properties: very wear resistant, adaptable to any surface – ranging from wood to stainless steel, marble to aluminum – it is also breathable, fire-resistant and is not subject to color toning over time.

The solid woods Deluxe give the project a warm and comfortable look: they come from unused railway sleepers recovered in old depots; Ernestomeda gave them new life leaving unchanged the original aesthetic features - including grains and color variations – that are the result of the natural effects of time and atmospheric agents.

In another version of Oblique, the solid oak Quercus is combined with FenixNTM™, a high-technology material used for the bromine gray version for tops, grooves, doors, plinths and island hood, and the kos  white version for the columns.

In Emetrica, design Andreucci&Hoisl, the serrated light oak - characterizing columns, hanging shelves and the back of the kitchen - is combined with the porcelain stoneware of the top in the kerlite office finish.

Finally, one of the new compositions of Icon, designed by Giuseppe Bavuso, associates the Piasentina stone in different finishes - leather for the washing monobloc Sequel and blaze for the base, the hob Union and the shelves of the practical surface - to the warmth of the vintage oak solid wood Deluxe, characterizing the snacks bar and the indoor store equipped with internal steel dresser. Other features are the gnarls and the halos created by the tannin sediments on the surface, caused by water and color inhomogeneity (presence of reddish patches and brown spots).
