The ceramic company ABK and the architecture colour specialist Oikos have many things in common: the corporate vision, the stylistic and technological passion-oriented research, the attention to sustainability. The two companies are now inaugurating the new season with a partnership that combines the porcelain stoneware surfaces of the former with the chromatic schemes of the latter.
The new ABK Group line of slabs, Crossroad, is created to offer architects and interior designers a material and colour system to make coordinated stylistic choices, which can follow the trends of the moment.
In Crossroad, the expertise of the two companies finds expression in the moodboard concept: the ceramic surfaces are catalogued along with the selection of Oikos wall colours in the same colours or complementary ones.
"For ABK, Crossroad represents also the widening of the dialogue with design professionals", Alessandro Fabbri, AD Sales and Marketing of ABK Group, comments. "For this reason, we designed a main-collection that could simplify the choice of finishes, with a wide variety of sizes, colours, surfaces and the extremely new recommended mural colours, which can enhance the ceramic product and provide the customer with a sort of all-inclusive package".
"The collaboration with ABK is a further confirmation of Oikos's ability to interact with different companies that share the same values", Claudio Balestri, President and founder of the company, explains. The aim is to provide an integrated package of innovative and personalized solutions to designers constantly looking for new creative ideas. For Oikos, Crossroad is also an expression of its colour experimentation, search for new materials and the strong bond with its own territory. OIKOS operates in the global market by creating synergies with design and Made in Italy companies".
