The surfaces proposed by the Group's brands (Floor Gres, Rex, Casa dolce casa - Casamood, Cerim and FLORIM stone) are the new protagonists in Florim. These include both traditional applications (floor and wall covering) and solutions designed for the world of furniture.
In 2018-19, the focus of the company is especially on the large formats Magnum Oversize (Honorable Mention of the ADI Compasso d'Oro Award 2016): the project offers a wide range of ceramic slabs for all uses, with formats ranging from from 160x320cm to 120x120cm, 120x240cm and 120x280cm, besides different thicknesses from 6-12-20mm.
Florim economic strategy focused on this: over the past two years, they invested over 200 million euros for the construction of two new 4.0 factories dedicated to the production, processing and logistics of large formats.
The porcelain stoneware slabs larger than 160x320cm - available in three thicknesses (6, 12 and 20 mm) and different finishes - offer interior designers creative flexibility and high technical and aesthetic performance. FLORIM Stone line, for example, offers the maximum aesthetic and chromatic versatility: a selection of plates with different inspirations meeting the most different styles.
Composed of a natural mixture of ceramic clays and mineral colors, the material has several advantages, such as the endurance over time and the suitability for the contact with food and water (as evidenced by the NSF - Food Equipment Materials certification). These requirements ensure the highest performance for applications in kitchens.
