The collections of large porcelain stoneware slabs for architecture and design by Florim's brands have been the protagonists at the Groups’s area during the recent KBS, in Orlando.
FLORIM stone line - the brand made up of countertops (for kitchen and bathroom) and worktops - has stood out among these innovations. The slabs’ range is divided into three different thicknesses (6-12-20mm) and a single large format, 160x320cm.
FLORIM stone’s porcelain stoneware is made of a natural mixture of ceramic clays and mineral colors; its strong points are durability and impermeability, resistance to high temperatures and UV rays, hygiene and ease of cleaning.
The recent range of surfaces proposed by the brand Casa dolce casa - Casamood is particularly trendy as well.
Artwork, in fact, adopts the aesthetics of the iconic Venetian-style and the Memphis Style patterns adopted in Milan during the 80s.
The project is based on three main shades proposed in contrasting pairs (white-gray and white-black) and declined into three different granulometric scales (Micro-Basic-Macro). There are 12 decorative versions in which glassy-inspired inserts stimulate the interaction with strong and typifying shapes and colors.
The three patterns micro-basic-macro are part of a great program combining the traditional 10mm thickness with the increasingly wide project Florim Magnum Oversize, in only 6 mm, with sizes up to 120x240cm for this collection. The matte finish alternates grits of different brightness and brilliance to get a material effect, while the glossy finish is extremely bright.
