On April 12, it was held the first official luncheon at the new Food Village of Amatrice, the project that is being curated by the architect Stefano Boeri, which is part of the reconstruction plan "Amate Amatrice" (“Love Amatrice”), made possible by the fundraising promoted by Corriere della Sera, TgLa7 and TIM.
As a symbolic moment of the birth of the new economic center of the earthquake-stricken city, the luncheon also involved the delivery to the Mayor Pirozzi of the first completed space, which was intended for the canteen of the nearby school complex inaugurated at the end of 2016 after only 30 days of construction.
The event, opened to the public, with aims of solidarity and fundraising, represented, among other things, a thanksgiving sign to the companies that have been partners of the project and to all entrepreneurs involved in supporting and launching the structure.
