DIGITALART, the new collection of Ceramica Sant'Agostino, bursts into the world of fashion using the artistic graphics of textiles and defining a new ornamental code for the most advanced ceramic material and will enter the pre-selection for the ADI Design Index 2016, the annual publication of ADI that collects the best Italian design put into production. The products selected for the Index will be entered for the "Compasso d'Oro", the most authoritative global design prize.
The inspirational source for DIGITALART is the Pixel Art of the Eighties, which is revisited to create an original language in the design world.
DIGITALART was first presented at Cersaie 2015 and was awarded with the ADI Ceramics Design Award - the award that comes from the collaboration between the exhibition and ADI - Association for Industrial Design - and perfectly expresses Ceramica Sant'Agostino philosophy of "materials for living architecture".
