On March 29, the Swiss Franke group, part of Artemis Group and specialized in kitchen and bathroom solutions and system, has acquired a 25% share (so far held by Roca Corporación Empresarial SA.) of Duravit, a German manufacturer of design bathrooms and wellness systems, whose historical headquarters is located in Hornberg. The relationship between the two companies comes from the availability of complementary product lines, which integrate almost perfectly.
The new participation thus provides the basis for the creation of a strategic partnership in the bathrooms and kitchens sector, with good growth opportunities also in large public and semi-public projects environment. The aim is also to expand and strengthen the position of both groups on the international markets.

Alexander Zschokke, Franke Group CEO, said: “Working with Duravit is a fundamental stage for the Franke Group's strategic development. Both companies have extraordinary expertise: more than 100 years of experience and a high level of design competence. For Franke Duravit is not only a strong partner for development, because also our corporate cultures are the same: entrepreneurship is the utmost priority for both companies. Together we set new standards in the bathroom and kitchen sectors and we will enjoy a strong growth impetus.”
