Him and Wazebo by Zucchetti.Kos win the GOOD DESIGN™Award 2015

Double triumph for the Zucchetti.Kos Group within the GOOD DESIGNTMAward 2015 assigned by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in collaboration with the European Centre for Architecture and Design and Urban Studies; the two winning products are the washbasin mixer Him and Wazebo, the mini wellness shower pavilion, both designed by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba.

Founded in Chicago in 1950, the GOOD DESIGNTMAward is the oldest prize for the most innovative and cutting-edge industrial, product and graphic designs produced around the world.

In 2015, more than 900 projects and products from more than 38 countries have been selected for their pursuit of extraordinary design excellence. Him and Wazebo's success confirms Zucchetti. Kos prominence in bathroom design.

Him mixer collection is characterized by a radical, compact and streamlined design of the flat spout with cascade jet. Him is essential, simple and elegant, and its authors define it as "an architectural object lived in by an almost ergonomically organic handle". This product has a green soul as well: by reducing significantly the use of metal and controlling the water's cascade jet, it creates a lightweight object that allows the water to show off the full extent of its vitality.

Already awarded in the 2015 Design Plus, Wazebo is a unique and innovative object. Its slim tubular metal structure, totally open to the outside environment, is completed by a slatted wooden shower tray for an extremely natural tactile sensation, which allows for a complete immersion in the nature, in a symbolic break between interior and exterior, between natural and artificial.
