The escalation of the smart house of the future goes on: home automation is going to be not only a mere environment management tool, but as a science applied to each single element for a fully connected home.
Technology, conceived as a key factor influencing social relationships and habits, has been the theme of “Living Technology”, the event organized at Samsung Smart Home by Samsung and Supermercato24, the first Italian online shopping player, with the participation of Carla Facchini, Professor of Family Sociology at the University of Milan-Bicocca.
Specifically, the event involved the presentation of the innovative Samsung FamilyHub refrigerator, a “smart” home appliance equipped with IoT (Internet of Things) technology that introduces new ways to organize shopping, manage home activities, cook and shop online by offering the possibility to connect at any time, besides the use of interactive features for leisure and sharing according to a "social" logic.
«Today our FamilyHub represents a new breakthrough by proposing new opportunities for food management, sharing, communication and family entertainment, but also playing a central role in the IoT and in the future of the generations that will live in a connected house”, Antonio Bosio, Samsung's Product & Solutions Director, claimed.
Samsung FamilyHub is therefore among the innovations designed to revolutionize home’s daily approach, by following the physiological shift from analogue to digital 3.0 also within our houses.
