Among other made in Italy excellences, the new LXO collection by Oikos, designed by Daniel Libeskind, has been selected for the ADI Design Index 2016, the popular annual publication promoted by ADI that gathers the best Italian design products. The selection will thus allow the company to compete for the prestigious Golden Compass award.
The line signed by the designer follows the philosophy of the brand, which has always shown interest in the collaborations with influential Italian and international architects to find new ecofriendly solutions for materials and colors used for personalized contemporary settings. The new partnership with the US designer has thus given as a result the color palette LXO - Libeskind Oikos.
Consisting of 33 intense chromatic solutions in which light and color are harmoniously blended, the collection is rooted in the combination of artisan stylistic research and industrial production, both aimed at a sustainable architecture materialized into an original project.
The special presentation of the collection has helped as well the jury selection: a chromatic orography that reinterprets the natural erosion process of the canyons where colors become three-dimensional, adding and escaping under the complex geometries to which Libeskind project approach is devoted.
