The company from Treviso Cristalplant® launches the ninth edition of the usual Design Contest, which challenges architects and designers for the interpretation the potentials of the homonymous new generation material solid surface.
Made this year in collaboration with the brand Tortu, the initiative aims at identifying and award an eclectic and original project that have to be dedicated to bathroom, built with the Biobased Cristalplant and inspired by the style of the famous leading Dutch company.
The “Cristalplant® Dutch Design Contest 2017” includes the free and open participation to architects of all ages and nationalities. Moreover, each studio can participate with more than one project, submitted by different professionals.
The deadline for the submission of the works is July 1, 2017; then a jury consisting of qualified designers and furnishings’ professionals will judge them; finally, in September there will be the official ceremony award at the Tortu showroom, in Rotterdam. The winning project will be included in the TORTU catalog and the product will be potentially made by 2018.
