“Policroma” collection by CEDIT - Ceramiche d'Italia (a Florim Group brand) won the Red Dot Award 2020, a prestigious international prize awarded once every year to the most interesting and original design products.
A jury of internationally renowned experts selected the collection among over 6,500 products from 60 different countries. Appreciated for its high design quality, the collection "Policroma" created by Cristina Celestino reinvents ceramic products by proposing an innovative aesthetics combining classical architectural canons with a more contemporary expressive code. CEDIT large slabs present stunning marble and marmorino inspired surfaces and truly scenic compositions.
The Policroma ceramics collection offers an aesthetic formula that incorporates the stylistic canons of classicism. The collection’s repertoire of large slabs features motifs inspired by two different sources: the veined texture of some specific metamorphic rocks and on the sophisticated colours of Marmorino plaster.
The Red Dot Award ceremony will be held on 22 June 2020 and a sample of the collection will be on display at the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen.
