Four are the elements of the manifesto of Cersaie 2016, the International exhibition of ceramic for architecture and bathroom furnishings: exhibition, meeting place, interactions between people and knowledge of the matter. The concept designed by Silvia Spitaleri (Industrial Design Studio of the Polytechnic School of the University of Palermo), for the thirty-fourth edition of the Bologna exhibition, has as its main feature a wall tile to emphasize the matter and the stylistic expression it can represent.
Both for graphic composition and visual solution, the image highlights exactly the materiality of the product in relation to the industrial process, but emphasizes also especially the role of ceramics in the architecture and in the various environments in which the human figure is always central.
The appointment for the next Cersaie is scheduled for September 26 to 30, 2016.
