ABK GROUP, an architectural journey at CERSAIE 2024

Focusing on the relationship between humanity and matter, the exhibition space hosting the ABK, ABKStone, Flaviker and Materia brands showcases increasingly customised products and services tailored to the design community

Humanity and matter is the theme of ABK Group’s presence at the 2024 edition of Cersaie, in keeping with the leitmotif of the International Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings Exhibition to be held in Bologna from 23 to 27 September, which this year has chosen “A space for architectural design” as its slogan.

The ABK Group’s booth represents an architectural space in which humanity and matter engage in an ongoing quest for new points of equilibrium. At the heart of the exhibit is a collaborative hub, a space for sharing and networking where customers, architects and designers can meet to discuss creative proposals and cutting-edge technologies capable of generating increasingly personalised services.

Next, visitors are invited to explore the new collections from each of the group’s individual brands – ABK, ABKStone, Flaviker and Materia – through a series of perspective views that accompany visitors on a dynamic and fascinating journey.

The decorative power of the colours and surfaces of Alterego brings fresh creative energy to 14ORAITALIANA, a brand renowned for reinterpreting trends with an eclectic spirit and offering alternatives to traditional ceramics.

The spaces dedicated to the new Flaviker collections reflect the company’s ongoing commitment to technological research, focusing on the realistic reproduction of natural surfaces. The latest and most advanced example of this is the Supreme Hedonism collection of marble-effect porcelain stoneware with exclusive coloured accents. In the realm of large slabs, the ABKSTONE and MATERIA brands offer design professionals a wide range of material effects that ensure remarkable realism. The exclusive FullVein3D technology achieves perfect continuity of veining through the entire thickness of the material, just like natural stone, guaranteeing a flawless aesthetic result even after machining.

The successful collaboration between ABK and Paola Navone - Otto Studio, which began in 2021, continues to thrive with the evolution of the Poetry House project. The latest development, showcased at Cersaie, highlights the designer’s originality and unmistakable style. Poetry Net, the most recent addition, draws inspiration from the tactile quality of frescoes and the woven textures of fabrics and unfolds as a visual narrative on ceramic surfaces.

Four years after its acquisition by ABK Group, Gardenia Orchidea is experiencing renewed creativity and vigour, reaffirming its legacy as a historic name in the world of ceramics. Visitors to the brand’s booth in Hall 25 at Cersaie 2024 will be able to experience the positive energy flowing through its latest collections, which are perfectly aligned with contemporary interior design trends.
