The 40th Cersaie fully lived up to the expectations of the exhibitor companies that chose to invest in the event. A total of 633 companies participated, occupying an exhibition space of 145,000 square metres in fifteen fully packed out halls of the Bologna exhibition centre.
At Cersaie 2023, Hisbalit presents the upcoming trends for next year in eco-friendly mosaic tile: creative designs with a hypnotic effect in warm, timeless colours. Sober and elegant motifs that combine tradition and modernity.
A conference will be held on Thursday 28 September in the Palazzo dei Congressi in Bologna as part of Cersaie’s Building, Dwelling, Thinking programme to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Jørn Utzon’s Sydney Opera House (1973-2023), one of the most important works of modern architecture to make extensive use of ceramic tiles.
To mark the 40th edition of Cersaie, the exhibition space will feature a fascinating route reliving 40 years of its evolution, focusing on design, technology, products and companies that have made history. Route 40 takes the visitor through the defining moments of these four decades, illustrating the major changes that have taken place in culture, society, design and production.
