A tour inside the iconic Cloud realized by Studio Fuksas. The new Congress Centre in Rome, located in the historical neighbourhood of EUR and settled recently, develops on a surface of 55,000 sq.m with a total capacity of approximately 9.000 seats.
Three are the main images that have inspired the project: the Teca, which has inspired the structure in steel and a double façade in glass, the Cloud, structure with steel ribbing, covered by a transparent layer of 15,000 sq.m and the “Lama” of the Hotel, with 441 rooms.
The attention focused on the eco-design, has bring to new solutions approaching to energy saving, as conditioning system and the presence of photovoltaic panels on the coverture of the case.
