Many events made the emerging district of Porta Nuova one of the most attractive spaces of the Fuorisalone 2018. In particular, more than 8,000 visitors from all over the world went to see space&interiors, the exhibition dedicated to new finishes and solutions for architecture, now in its third edition. From April 17 to 21, the exhibition center The Mall was in fact transformed into a privileged location to explore the future of living in an atmosphere inspired by Mars, thanks to the curatorship of Stefano Boeri Architetti. Besides well-known companies of surface and furniture sector, there were also famous international architects such as Carlo Ratti and Italo Rota, the astronaut Luca Parmitano, the designer Valentina Sumini and Jakob Lange (BIG Bjarke Ingels Group).
