SABA by NOORTH: the Washbasin as a Minimalist Archetype
Designed by Altherr Désile Park, SABA is a sophisticated freestanding pedestal washbasin.
This design embodies a contemporary interpretation of the bathroom, where the washbasin remains the central element, finding its purest expression in its freestanding version.
Available in a monomaterial version or combined with a matte oak wood-finished column in the finishes Mezza Fiamma, Carbone, Nero; Noce Canaletto, the SABA washbasin is crafted in concrete in the shades of Caolino and Antracite, which enhance its minimalist character. It is also available in lacquered concrete in 22 matte colors and six Sillmatt shades, as well as in clay-based concrete in colors such as Cenere, Nilo, Senape, Rosso Bollo, Tabacco, Pece offering a refined and natural appeal. For those seeking a design that is rich in aesthetics yet essential in form, SABA is also available in matte marble in Carrara, Graphite, and Nero Marquina.
The ideal pairing for SABA is CABA, another collection by the Iberian design collective for Noorth, an evolution of the renowned Lievore Altherr studio. Simple, versatile, and functional, CABA is a storage system designed to address the typical storage needs of the bathroom space. Its minimal volumes and the wide range of finishes reference the classical elegance of boiserie, while its integrated versions for the washbasin and sanitary area make it suitable for any design project.
The system offers extensive modularity with single and double units, internal shelves, and various opening options, including top grip, top and bottom grip, and push-pull mechanisms. High customization is also possible thanks to a wide selection of finishes for sides and fronts: glossy and matte lacquers in 22 colors, metallic finishes Platino, Zinco, Quarzo, Ambra, Titanio, and Basalto. It is also available in matte oak wood finishes in Mezza Fiamma, Barrique, Nordico, Miele, Tundra, Termocotto, Carbone, Nero; Noce Canaletto; in Sillmatt shades such as Latte, Greige, Seta, Tortora, Lavica, and Antracite; and in veneered finishes in Limo, Sesamo, Cipria, Cannella, Moro, and Mirto, as well as Ares and Mud Clay versions.
