A sustainable model joins the philosophy of the largest brick producer, Wienerberger, involved in the recovery project with its eco-friendly materials.
The Wienerberger Brick Award has offered a unique platform for the recognition of outstanding brick architecture of international quality since 2004. In 2016, prizes were awarded in 5 categories. This year, two projects were awarded the Grand Prize.
The competition dedicated to the most innovative projects carried out using clay went to Building 2226 by Austrian architect Dietmar Eberle and Casa 1014 by the practice Harquitectes.
